Monterey, California is one of our all time favorite spots. It is also the place of our engagement! Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey is known for its cluster of seafood restaurants and small shops. We’ve been here before back in 2010 and we knew it was time to visit again. Old Fisherman’s Grotto was our spot for the best clam chowder. This time around we picked up our lunch from their outside vendor and got it in the bread bowl. With its fresh, creamy texture and perfectly blended flavor, the sourdough made it absolutely perfect!
